SBO ทางเข้า Dundee United boss says Blackpool did not contact him over managerial vacancy
Dundee United manager Peter Houston insists he remains in the dark over Blackpool’s approach to sbo ทางเข้า make him their new boss.
On Monday morning, United granted Houston permission to speak to the managerless Seasiders, who are looking for their third sbo manager this season after Michael Appleton left for Blackburn 66 days on from succeeding Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway at Bloomfield Road.
News of the approach went public but Houston claims Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston then failed to sbo ทางเข้า make contact with him.
“I’m the innocent party here as far as Blackpool are concerned,” said the 54-year-old, who announced on Thursday he would leave Tannadice at the end of the season.
“The chairman said Mr (Karl) Oyston had contacted him sbo ทางเข้า and asked for permission to speak to me. My agent John Colquhoun said the same thing.
“At no time in my career as a manager at Dundee United have I applied for any jobs. John never put me in for the Blackpool job or phoned Karl Oyston.
“I was told by the chairman sbo ทางเข้า and my agent that permission had been granted for the Blackpool thing. Fine – you show respect sbo ทางเข้า and I would have been happy to listen but I never got the phone call. I never got a reason for that.
“Perhaps part of the reason was that the furore that was in the newspapers sbo ทางเข้า and on TV the next day put Mr Oyston off. I might be wrong.
“I see no reason why you ask for permission sbo ทางเข้า and then I don’t get a phone call – even to say you’ve changed your mind sbo ทางเข้า and you’re going down a different route.”
